Cambridge Analytica may have had access to the personal information of tens of millions of unwitting Americans.

 But a genuine debate has emerged about whether the company had the sophistication to put that data effectively to use on behalf of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

But one other organization that has ready access to Facebook’s trove of personal data has a much better track record of using such information effectively: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement....

Facebook has been collecting call records and SMS data from Android devices for years.

Several Twitter users have reported finding months or years of call history data in their downloadable Facebook data file.

A number of Facebook users have been spooked by the recent Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal, prompting them to download all the data that Facebook stores on their account.

More than 1,000 children have been killed or injured this year across Syria, a United Nations Children's Fund official told CNN.
