Germany's supreme court ruled against lawmakers' bid to outlaw a far-right party accused of promoting a racist and anti-Semitic agenda on Tuesday.

The German parliament's upper house, which represents the country's 16 state governments, applied for the ban at the end of 2013. It's the second attempt to ban the National Democratic Party, better known by its German acronym NPD.

Officials maintain the party violates the German Constitution and are keen to cut off NPD's state...

Fast good giant Dairy Queen, famed for its soft serve ice cream, has closed one of its stores and ended its relationship with the owner after police said he “proudly admitted” using a racial slur to a customer.

Deianeira Ford said the DQ outlet in Zion, Illinois, had mixed up her order at the drive-through window. When owner Jim Crichton refused to correct the order, she asked for refund. He refused to give one, and he then started yelling racist epithets at her.

“It was really...

Anders Breivik has given a Nazi salute to a court that will rule on whether his human rights have been violated in prison.

Norway’s government is trying to overturn the verdict that it violated Breivik’s human rights by keeping him in isolation. A judge from Oslo District Court said the country had violated a ban on “inhuman and degrading” treatment.

Dressed in a dark suit, Breivik stared briefly at reporters while making the salute but didn’t speak.

Judge Oystein...

People in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Serbian entity -- Republika Srpska -- celebrated the creation of the small state for the second year in a row on Monday, defying a ruling from Bosnia's highest court.

Celebrations, which were backed by senior members of the entity’s government, began with a parade in Banja Luka city.

Monday’s ceremony was secured by around 1,000 police officers, and the entire city was decorated with Republika Srpska flags.

Since 2012, the number of non-Jewish refugees from African countries in present-day Israel has shrunk from a peak of approximately 64,000 to fewer than 46,000.

Israel’s successful efforts to reduce the number of Africans living in territory it controls must be recognized for what it is: ethnic cleansing.

For the last four years, Sheen has compiled an annual list of the public figures most responsible for Israel’s racist treatment of Africans.

The list reads as both an...

Ann Coulter sending out dog whistles to show her solidarity with neo-Nazis?

Several white nationalists seem to think that’s the case after Coulter mysteriously tweeted out the number “14” on Thursday morning without offering any explanation or additional context.

Unfortunately, 14 happens to be a popular reference for white supremacists.

That’s because the most popular slogan for white supremacists happens to be 14 words: “We must secure the existence of our people and...

When Twitter started cracking down on users who were engaging in “hateful conduct” in November, the Southern Poverty Law Center published a list of white nationalists whose accounts appeared to be unaffected by the move. At the top of that list was Matthew Heimbach, a 20-something white nationalist who used his Twitter account to promote racist, anti-Semitic beliefs.

For a portion of 2016, Heimbach had a verified Twitter account, a designation that is seen as an implicit symbol of...

Italy's education ministry received a nasty shock after a poll seeking to find out what the most ‘beloved’ book among children returned an unwelcome entry.

The cross-country survey of 140,000 secondary school classrooms was intended as a means to understand which works by Italian authors were the most popular, but somehow ended up including Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf, according to La Repubblica.

Mein Kampf (‘My Struggle’), is the partly-autobiographical work that outlined Hitler...

Cologne's chief of police has rejected criticism over accusations that officers used racial profiling while conducting identification checks on New Year's Eve.

Authorities in the city had stepped up security measures for revelers after last year's spate of sexual assaults which were blamed on refugees of North African descent.
More than 1,500 officers were deployed to the inner city, with additional support of several hundred federal police present at railway stations.

According to an ex-employee of the high-end designer Versace, the company informs their salespeople if a black person is walking through the store with a “secret code.”

The former male employee, who worked in a Bay Area store, “in a lawsuit says a manager told him about a store code called “D410,” which was used to casually let co-workers know a black person was present — as in, ‘we got a D410 in menswear,'” reports say. He also claims that he was treated differently as a black man...

anti-Islam lawmaker Geert Wilders was found guilty Friday of insulting and inciting discrimination against Moroccans, a conviction he immediately slammed as a "shameful" attack on free speech and an attempt to "neutralize" him.

Presiding Judge Hendrik Steenhuis said the court would not impose a sentence because the conviction was punishment enough for a democratically elected lawmaker.

Wilders was not in court for the verdict that came just over three months before national...
