Attack on Syrian refugees in Germany

It was reported that a far-right group attacked five Syrian refugees in the east German city of Frankfurt an der Oder. In a joint statement by the Brandenburg Police and the Prosecutor’s Office in Frankfurt an der Oder, it was stated that a warrant was issued for the arrest of three people aged 19 and 20 involved in the far-right attack and an investigation was started.
It was stated that the attackers insulted Syrian refugees with xenophobic remarks in a restaurant in the event at the weekend. It was also reported that in response, Syrian refugees left the restaurant and the far-right group followed and attacked the refugees.
After being kicked and punched, two of the Syrian refugees had to seek medical care.
