A disabled man Syed Ali went out to go to the shops and he got outside he noticed his door was black before a neighbour pointed out the graffiti. ‘Kill Muslims’ was written on his front door in marker pen as well as in paint.
The police were called and came to Mr Ali’s home and took the details of what happened and wiped the door to remove the hateful language.
Syed Ali, who lives alone and needs an electric wheelchair to help him get around, says he is now too scared to stay in his Bury home.
Mr Ali, who lives in Birks Drive in Brandlesholme, now needs medication to help him sleep after he was targeted in the early hours of the morning. Police are treating the incident as a hate crime and have launched an investigation.
