Israeli forces detain 23 Palestinians from West Bank, Jerusalem

Israeli forces detained today 23 Palestinians, including two former prisoners and two minors, from various parts of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Six Palestinians were detained in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, including an 18-year-old high school student and a 16-year-old minor from Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, two from al-Tabaqa village, south of Hebron, and two others from Fawwar refugee camp.
Israeli troops also detained four Palestinians from Ramallah and al-Bireh district, three of them, including a former prisoner, from al-Mazraa al-Gharbiya village, north of Ramallah, and one from Nilin village, west of Ramallah.
In the Jordan Valley, PPS said an Israeli military raid in al-Jiftlik village, north of Jericho, resulted in the detention of five Palestinians, including a father and his two sons.
Three Palestinians were detained from the northern West Bank district of Tulkarm, two from Anabta town, east of Tulkarm city, and another from Shweikeh neighborhood.
In Nablus district, PPS said a military raid into Balata refugee camp resulted in the detention of three Palestinians.
Two other Palestinians were detained by Israeli police in occupied East Jerusalem, said PPS.
